The first two new pages Sam and Max comic goodness, entitled "The Big Sleep," are now viewable for free at Telltalegames.com. Make sure you mouse over the panels to see everything this great new style has to offer, and click the Previous button to see the first page, as the story actually begins here. The official site is sadly still empty, but soon it too will hopefully host these pages.
Also, in a new interview, Steve Purcell has mentioned the release of "a new chunk of comic material" next year, which may or may not be related to the webcomic. However, this new material will make Purcell consider the possibility of a new trade paperback, so you might want to think twice about bidding on that $100 "Surfing the Highway" book on eBay. |

Well, it's finally happened. Sam and Max 2 will be released as a commercial game! Telltale Games, who just released their first adventure game (based on the first book in the epic Bone comic saga) for download, and along with it comes the announcement of Sam and Max 2!
This fangame was originally started to protest the cancellation of Sam and Max: Freelance Police. Well, it looks like we'll never see that game (unless Telltale finds some way to get back their old code from LEC), but we will get a new game from the coolest company on Earth.
Read the announcement on your favorite adventure game news site, samandmax.net, or samandmax.com. Then head over to Telltalegames.com and download Bone: Out From Bonevill to support the one company taking adventures into the next generation! |
